Hanuman chalisa 360 degree!
It was mentioned about a PDF, but couldn't find. Routine chanting of Hanuman chalisa will surely be more involved and meaningful task now.
The pronounciation of non English parts could be corrected.
Excellent account of very popular verses! Compliments!

Good Book to get the basics on Hanuman Chalisa
Simple book for quick concepts. but some deep philosophies were difficult to understand. narrative was flat and monotonous and could be improved.

Really good understanding
A really insightful understanding of hanuman chalisa. Well researched piece from Devdutt. The rendition of Doha could have been more Awadhi like. This has helped me to memorise the chalisa by providing rationale and understanding of what the chaupai says. Kudos!!

Wonderful book marred by terrible narration
Dr Pattanaik, as in most of his books, reveals solid insights elevating the apparently commonplace Hanuman Chalisa into a portal of high Vedic learning. Sadly, the narrator is unbelievably amateurish in his reading. With a flat tone, weird accent and garbled pronunciations (he mispronounces literally every non-english word from the name of the Vedas to even the author's name!!), the narrator takes all the joy out of listening. Amazon #Audible should improve the quality of narrators being brought onboard for widely read authors like Devdutt Pattanaik.

refreshing reinterpretation
While the content of the book is based on the old text of Hanuman Chalisa, it has been beautifully reinterpreted, in a fairly objective, philosophical manner to make it relevant to regards. It does not expect one to be religious even spiritual to connect with the learnings from the book.
