ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joni Dittrich, Ph.D. (Rajashree Maa), a master of four reiki lineages and a venerated
interspiritual teacher of meditation, yogic wisdom and holistic wellness, understands healing as a
practice of opening to the universal love that is limitless and without conditions and as a means
to realize the divine within us. From her first reading of the Bible and the healings of Jesus, she
knew that true healing must come from the “inside out.”
Graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in world religious studies, she then studied
theology at Vanderbilt University and earned a master’s degree in human development counseling.
She went on toreceive her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Memphis and practiced as a clinical
psychologist for over 30 years before devoting her life to her yogic studies and spiritual sadhana.
After embarking on a long course of deep meditation, Rajashree Maa experienced a series
of mystical encounters with Divine Mother in the form of Kali Maa beginning in 2008. Out of
these revelations, Kali-Ki Reiki® and The Wisdom School were midwifed into the world. The
Kali-Ki Reiki symbols are light-forms that transmit the universal Loveforce energy of healing to
all levels of the being: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The practice of Kali-Ki Reiki
becomes a yogic practice of “wisening,” or awakening to the Soul Self and our unity with all that
is, the deeper reality that resides within each of us. The Wisdom School, physically based in
Napa, CA, with a large online kula, or spiritual community, as well, is dedicated to offering
healing sessions and to teaching Kali-Ki Reiki, meditation, and supportive practices at all levels
to anyone who wants to explore healing as an expression of the Limitless Love at the heart of all

The name “Rajashree Maa” was given to her by her guru, Swami Sri Atmananda, when
she lived at Satyachetana Ashram in Tiruvannamalai, India, during the COVID-19 lockdown of
2020. The name means “Queen Mother” or “She of the Royal Lineage of Divine Mother.”
