Alice Bell has been in love with books for as long as she can remember. She has always had a taste for the macabre and wanted to be a vampire when she read The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. She's also a fan of the Brontes and Tanith Lee (who first showed her beauty in darkness). Her novels are known for their elements of suspense and heroines with diverse stories. She loves creating gothic fantasy worlds to escape into; dark heroes and dark plots twists make her happy. She was born in California, in a small town north of San Francisco, and lives with her husband in the Pacific Northwest.
