Writer Andrew K. F. Amelinckx is an award-winning crime reporter, freelance journalist, and visual artist. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Business Insider, Modern Farmer, and Smithsonian.com. He's the former crime and courts reporter for The Berkshire Eagle newspaper. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and an MFA in painting from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
Andrew grew up in Louisiana and now lives in New York's Hudson Valley with his wife and dog. His fourth book, Satellite Boy: The International Manhunt for a Master Thief That Launched the Modern Communication Age, will be published by Counterpoint Press on March 21, 2023.
