Chris Black is an actor, writer, and offshore ROV supervisor from Dalgety Bay, Scotland. He’s spent years balancing life on the open sea with a passion for storytelling grounded in grit, loyalty, and survival. His debut novel Capo is a fast-paced crime thriller set in Glasgow, following an ex-Royal Marine drawn back into the criminal underworld for one last job. Chris brings a cinematic eye to the page, shaped by his experience as a lead in multiple independent films and his training in fight choreography and tactical firearms for screen. When not writing or filming, he’s usually chasing down his next mad project—or being ordered around by his Bengal cat, Arlo.
