I spent a decade of behavior modification training searching for practical strategies for breaking through the limiting beliefs my clients all shared, yet it's hard to stop ruminating or reacting when so much of behavior is in habit mode.  It wasn't until I learned that the breath can serve as a bridge between reaction and response on the road to greater self-awareness. I've been amazed to discover how our everyday mind-body patterns have such a profound effect on how we manage our thoughts and feelings. As I adapted my coaching practices and programs to include best practices in habit change,  positive psychology, and neuroscience, it underscored how critical a stress reduction practice is for lasting behavior change. The ways that we create limitations without realizing it is shaped by deeply entrenched beliefs that are hard to change. But research shows that we have the power to change the cognitive factors that hold us back, to build the self-belief we need to take action.
