Jackie Britt (1946-present)
Jackie was born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, attended New Bedford, High School in Massachusetts and graduated with a BS in Business from Arizona State University. Jackie is now retired and living in Sun City West, Arizona with her second husband. Jackie and her husband, David met at their 50th high school reunion. Both had had happy long-term first marriages and both had been widows for several years before they met at their 50th.
Jackie says, "God has a sense of humor!" She lived 3000 miles from New Bedford , MA in Glendale, Arizona. David was a permanent resident of New Bedford, MA. Eight months later they were married in Phoenix, AZ. Both retired now live in Sun City West, AZ. See He does have a sense of humor and nothing is impossible for Him.
Though Jackie has come late to writing books for children, she has always enjoyed making up stories for her own 3 children, 7 grand children, and 9 great grand children. Her actual writing of children stories began last year (2018) for a grandchild of her husband's best friend.
