My Journey... Everyday Was A Goddamn Struggle!!!
Driving a 44 tonne truck and trailer unit down the highway, not knowing HOW I was going to survive the night, or more to the point, WOULD I survive it?! Those thoughts continuously ran through my head, even before I got to work and climbed into my tanker unit.
“Do I have to go to work? I just can’t face the world anymore!”
I would say, as I would drag myself out of bed.
Such a struggle. Such an effort.
I just wanted to throw the covers over my head and forget that the world existed. I wanted everything to just go away. I just couldn’t cope with anything anymore.
