As a boy, Nick was always that strange kid who was most interested in those taboo rated R movies. On the rare occasion he got to watch one, his parents always made him turn his head away from the TV during the dark and disturbing parts. They did this, as any good parent would, to shield their young child from the gory and explicit. But oh, how his imagination smoldered.
Today, Nick remembers all those imaginative roller-coasters he experienced as a boy. But now, he gets to do what he wants. To that end, he's worked his fingers to the proverbial bone bringing to life his Erter & Dobbs series. It's a little Lethal Weapon, a little Dexter, a bit of Heat, maybe a twist of Silence of the Lambs thrown in. And though he's not nearly done, it's all been a joy. And he hopes you'll think so, too.
During the daytime hours, Nick lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and at night he spelunks through the caverns of his brain using a decent music selection and keyboard as his tools. As a graduate of UNT's film department and actor-on-the-side, he's a father, son, brother and friend to a whole big shebang of other people, some strange, others balanced, pulling character and story ideas from each.
