I am a writer from Wales who has written three historical novels. The most recent is about the conflict in Burma, modern Myanmar, during the Second World War. It features many locations, events and individuals, some quite famous at the time and subsequently, and also explores parts of this conflict which I don’t believe has been covered before in a work of fiction, specifically the contributions and sacrifices made by the West African Spider Brigades behind enemy lines in 1944.

Both of my earlier novels are about the life and experiences of the Numidian king Masinissa during the Second Punic War between Rome and Carthage, a war in which he played an extremely substantial role for both sides. After the war, Masinissa became the first King of a unified Numidia. He is still revered today across North Africa and the Sahel region as the founding father of the Amazigh people. I hope if you read them, you enjoy them!
