Ruth Kriner was born into a family of six in Walla Walla, Washington, on Pearl Harbor Day. Since her oldest sibling was twenty years her senior she often spent time alone during her formative years. That period was the beginning of Ruth's exploration of creative ways to keep herself occupied. Now, much older and with grown children, she felt the Holy Spirit presenting her with another outlet for her creativity. God suggested that she write a book, and as He is her passion, writing about Jesus became a natural course to follow. Since it was Jesus who gave her victory over the stronghold that had kept her captive, she now encourages and teaches others how she became free.
