Steve Blume has over 40 years of experience in high-voltage electric power systems, including transmission, distribution, substation design and construction, operations, maintenance, and control center management—with a strong focus on electrical safety. He has deep expertise in industrial, commercial, and residential systems and is well-versed in a broad range of standards, codes, and best practices.
Steve holds an MSEE in power systems and a BSEE in telecommunications. He is a registered Professional Engineer, certified NERC Reliability Coordinator, Lifetime Senior Member of IEEE, and author of two published technical books.
