With my former wife, Fiona Macalister, converted a derelict mill complex in Fife Scotland into a residential art center, which catered for some famous bands, and flourished in the early 1980s.
At least 20 solo Art exhibitions (I have lost count) in a variety of locations - shops, restaurants, theater foyers, shop windows, a former mortuary, an observatory, and even some art galleries, in Edinburgh. London, and Paris. My last one man show was in the Edinburgh International Festival in 1995.
Have traveled widely, lived and worked in various capital cities, and in far flung remote places.
My first novel, Nobody dick in Dreamtime, was published by 4th Estate, London in 1989.
Since then i have published some 10 novels, a book of short stories, and one graphic book, under my independent imprint, inkistan.com.
