Tara Westover’s memoir is very captivating and I finished the audible in just 5 days!! It depicts the journey of the protagonist Tara who comes from an uneducated background, oblivious of the real world and has the picture of the world as told to her by her parents. How she grows out of her old persona, how she transforms as she encounters the real world and how education plays a significant role in all this is impressive.
The writer has shared her experiences with the audience very vividly. And it leaves an indelible impact on the mind even after the reading. A very good book recommended for the young generation.

This is a good spiritual read- very simple and concise. Every lesson is given a crisp title that sums up the teaching. But a brief given by the Zen Monk helps with a better understanding of the lessons of life. As you read, you experience an inner awakening and you feel inspired by the parables that further enrich the meaning.

Hailing from a different country and culture, It felt good to learn a little about the Japanese culture and people. It teaches you how similar every culture is when it teaches you lessons of life.

Truly a wonderful spiritual journey!! Shunmyo Masuno has done a fabulous job of enriching our life with valuable lessons.
