Story
From 1990 to 1995, Dr. Rick Strassman conducted U.S. government–approved and funded clinical research at the University of New Mexico in which he injected 60 volunteers with DMT, one of the most powerful psychedelics known. His detailed account of those sessions is an extraordinarily riveting inquiry into the nature of the human mind and the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. DMT, a plant-derived chemical found in the psychedelic Amazon brew ayahuasca, is also manufactured by the human brain.

If to fully know the whole thing written on this book one need to refer Terence Mckenna and Ram Dass both extraordinary persons through their writings, interviews and talks emphasised what psychedelics other than the synthetic stuff transform our outlooks and increase creativity and love and compassion without boundaries set by the society. Now the neuro scientists and after research got FDA approval for using DMT and LSD for the treatment of depression and autism and Psychosis. Thanks to author of the book for removing the stigma connected with psychedelic use.

The enormous human and economic toll of the rapidly spreading COVID-19 disease offers a vivid reminder that infectious disease pandemics are one of the greatest existential threats to humanity. This book provides an accessible explanation of how viruses emerge to cause pandemics, how our immune system combats them, and how diagnostic tests, vaccines, and antiviral therapies work - concepts that are a foundation for our public health policies.

Excellent narration of how viruses affect our cells and what actually happens when our immune system fight a war to destroy these foreign enemies. A point by point explanation of what Covid19 does to our cells in a very academic manner which even a 10year child can understand with ease and interest. Many thanks to the narrator whose rendition is clear and lovely.
Thanks to the author for bringing out this book with greater clarity and objectivity. Not a single line is excessive.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

This book is interesting and meaninglessly meaningful.
Whatever goes up comes down.
The initial writings of the book gives way to a life we all live. So there is no new philosophy you can find in this Book. This also turns out to be another self help book.
