This book is good. Loved the plot which is set in North Dakota. The first book I read of David Baldacci was The Innocent and the main character of that is Will Robie and he's in this book which was a good surprise. The mystery of all the murders remained mystery until last few pages of the book.
I liked one of the scenes in the book which takes place in someone's bedroom and David Baldacci mentions Dean Koontz books being on the table.

Loved the story, it had twists which were kind of unpredictable. I have read more over 500 books of detective series like these but Amus Decker series is just simply different than rest of them all. The last line from the author at the end was the brilliant one...which I look forward to read for every fav book / character...
"Amus Decker will be back for unfinished business"
Loved the book. no mistakes or loopholes in the story that I could find.

Loved this book so much. I never knew about Rachel Caine before this. the way she has written the situations in the book are fantastic.
they are not too detailed like , "a pin drop silence was understatement for the ambience around her in the middle of the night, she thought the silence was so deafening that she could even hear the fly and it's wings flapping"
and it wasn't blunt like , it was midnight and it was dark and silent", she wrote the most accurate level of details that makes the story super interesting (FYI I made those sentences up, they are not spoilers...)
many instances in the book has showed how Gina Royale was a very strong woman and that portrait of her is phenomenal and it's on the line thru out.
just loved the book so much.
