Pride and Prejudice
- Written by: Jane Austen
- Narrated by: Rosamund Pike
- Length: 11 hrs and 35 mins
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.

Read it only because of Rosamund Pike
This was my third attempt with Pride and Prejudice, I tried it in all formats, kindle/paperback/hardcover but somehow couldn't finish it. I took a shot with the Audio book thinking that may be the narration, the accents and the narrator's familiarity with the text would help and it totally did. I am so glad that I took that shot cause I not only finished the book but thoroughly enjoyed it, the writing, the manner. It was narrated how it was meant to be read. It was just great.
