I absolutely loved this book. The way the book has been presented shows how painful the path is to attain heights of success. The civil service aspirants dare to dream big. They keep trying and it can be summed up in a beautiful way what Colin Powell had once said, "A dream does not become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work."

I would just like to say that it's simply amazing. I appreciate the author's effort to collate such facts and write those in detail. But the beauty of the book gets enhanced by the narrator. Shernaz , you are too good. Thank you for the lovely time I had with this book! 📖

The stories are really nice and inspiring. However, one presenter who narrated the story of Lakshmi Sehgal and Dayamani Barla seems to narrate with few accented words, lisps and with wrong colloquial pronunciation .It was a let down with only those stories she narrated. Please be careful while choosing the narrators.

The stories meanders through the Memory Lane of people living abroad. Few characters makes you wonder with aw and at times made me admire Chitra. How well defined the portrayal is of the characters of each story.
Male voice of Deepti should have been more appealing else she was good through out.

This book made me smile and laugh a lot.
It's rare to find books which makes you burst into guffaws of laughter. The narrator adds A Star to the whole story. He is simply amazing.
BHU days always stands out in my memory too. Assi ghat, Gadaulia, Sankat Mochan , the grand University gate all tells you a story.
Do listen to the story. The author is vivid in his description too.
