A brilliantly written murder mystery from author Stuart Turton(cant believe, It's his first book!!). I was not able to stop once I started the book and it took a lot of will power to do so 🤣. The opening scene was enough to build up the excitement and left me wanting for more. Don't want to give spoilers here but this book was extra in everything. The mysteries unveiling one after another. New twists at every corner. Quite unpredictable climax and what not. How the author was able to introduce concepts of hell loops, multiple identities,a lot of murders, betrayals, deadly game with an end prize and bound everything up in one story with no loopholes whatsoever was amazing to me. In the end, everything made perfect sense. A perfect murder mystery book for your soul and perfect plot for an upcoming Hollywood movie.😁

Re-indulging in Harry Potter series for the umpteenth time, however listening to Stephen Fry narrate this book for the first time and loving it more if possible. Very grateful to have found Audible and HP with the bonus voice of SF.❤️

A well written and researched book by Ira Mukhoty. The narration was also good. While buying it, i was not so sure if this will give me a sneak peek into Mughal Empire the way i want but man was i wrong or what!! This book has beautifully shown us the magnificent Mughal Empire from the eyes of very strong, intelligent, powerful Mughal women which you can find mentioned in the normal historic books glorifying the kings and rulers only. This book answered everything from how and why did the Mughal come to India to their ultimate inevitable fall. The family betrayals and politics behind the drapes of Mughal Zenanas and Haramans. I never knew how independent, rich and powerful the Mughal women were and how they were responsible for creation of various architectural wonders of the Mughal Era. Its a well articulated piece of writing and would recommend to go for it if you are interested in history from a different point of view.

This is another of my attempts to read more classics and another hit and miss. I am sorry but it didn't work out for me. Jane Austen is a great writer and I quite liked pride and prejudice however the protagonist -Emma Woodhouse failed to impress me through and through. I felt all the female characters very weak and clichéd. Emma is a spoilt, vain and nosy character. She reminded me of the Indian Aunties who are always matchmaking people around them when no one asked them to and meddling in people's life. There is not much of a story also. The moment Mr Knightley was introduced, i knew they will end up together without a doubt. Most of the conversation between characters also seemed rubbish. There were few delightful moments here and there but overall it felt like a waste of time. Giving three stars only for Jane Austen and Emma Watson. Disappointed.

The never ending question of presence of an alien life, the search for another earth, the dark energy, the ever accelerating expansion of our universe and many more aspects have been discussed in this mini podcast. The narration and interviews from the people spending their day and nights to explore more of that space were quite exhilarating. This podcast left me wanting for more on the subject of exoplanets and space as whole.
