A Wonderful Offering By Om Swami

Meditation has been practiced in India for centuries, yet we have very few people who have managed to convey its essence better than Om Swami. A self-realized master, Om Swami, does not talk about meditation as an intellectual pursuit but as an art form that you can practice to see dramatic changes in your life. He is also the founder of the Black Lotus meditation application, and this book encapsulates why he India's foremost spiritual guru and meditation expert.

Hard work is irrelevant. Be radically honest. Adequate performance gets a generous severance. And never, ever try to please your boss. These are some of the ground rules if you work at Netflix. They are part of a unique cultural experiment that explains how the company has transformed itself at lightning speed from a DVD mail-order service into a streaming superpower - with 125 million fervent subscribers and a market capitalisation bigger than Disney. Finally Reed Hastings, Netflix chairman and CEO, is sharing the secrets that have revolutionised the entertainment and tech industries.

The book is excellent I wish I had bought a physical copy to read it. however the audio narration is really really bad I suspect that Text-to-Speech is being used here.

Story
The Greek myths are amongst the greatest stories ever told, passed down through millennia and inspiring writers and artists as varied as Shakespeare, Michelangelo, James Joyce and Walt Disney. They are embedded deeply in the traditions, tales and cultural DNA of the West. You'll fall in love with Zeus, marvel at the birth of Athena, wince at Cronus and Gaia's revenge on Ouranos, weep with King Midas and hunt with the beautiful and ferocious Artemis.

A phenomenal dive into the Ocean of Greek Mythology. Absolutely loved everything about it. You can hear an artist who cares about whats to say and really wants you to experience the myths with him.

Story
A Suitable Boy is Vikram Seth's epic love story set in India. Funny and tragic, with engaging, brilliantly observed characters, it is as close as you can get to Dickens for the twentieth century. The story unfolds through four middle class families: the Mehras, Kappoors, Khans, and Chatterjis. Lata Mehra, a university student, is under pressure from her mother to get married. But not to just anyone she happens to fall in love with.

Its a glorious rendering of a magical book. I was halfway through the book when I discovered this jewel and I have loved every minute of it. The production is amazing and as you are reaching the end you dread that its going to finish.
