Story
When a young woman is found dead, the police are quick to respond. But what they find at the scene is unexpected. The body is posed, the scene laboriously set. And there is almost no forensic evidence to be found. Detective Mia Krüger has been signed off work pending psychological assessment. But her boss has less regard for the rules than he should. Desperate to get Mia back in the office, Holger Munch offers her an unofficial deal.

Too much fat, too little meat
Reviewed: 18-07-20
Too little details to the main plot, too many extraneous story lines which contribute hardly anything to the main story. Read 2 books now & you always end up feeling you have no real idea about the motives or development of the main protagonist.
& the conversations, so irritating. Every conversation is stretched 4/5 times what it needs to be with needless questions.

Overhyped. Can’t say the plot is predictable but the twists are meh. Too many loose ends & inconclusive threads...

Story
Near an isolated mansion lies a beautiful garden. In this garden grow luscious flowers, shady trees...and a collection of precious “butterflies” - young women who have been kidnapped and intricately tattooed to resemble their namesakes. Overseeing it all is the Gardener, a brutal, twisted man obsessed with capturing and preserving his lovely specimens.

Don't ignore the negative reviews. This is a bang average story & the ending is just horrible. Clearly ran out of ideas as the story progressed.
