This series never disappoints. New characters are introduced. Old characters are explored more. The chemistry amongst these characters is the main reason to read this book. Our favourite diviners grow powerful each day...but the reason behind all this, the main villain is still lurking around, probably waiting. But for what? that is the question that needs to be answered. There is still the origin story to be told. Alot more to come. Can't wait!!
Only problem was that this book was much slower than the first book.

Absolutely Captivating

The characters, the narrators..all had their own unique personality. The story telling was what captivated me the most..it just pulls you in. It makes you feel what every character is feeling. We understand where they were coming from when they act or behave certain way. You see how one person's unintentional behaviour can affect the other, how one situation can be perceived differently by each individual. You sympathize with them because it seems like it's all real, you want them to be happy...all of them. Because you just can't hate these characters for being who they are...and cause you can see it all happening in real life. It's a story of Rockstars and that's how you feel when you read it. Would recommend it 💯.

Great end to an epic series!!

This book is everything that a final book in a series ought to be!! It is so satisfying to finally make sense of everything that has happened since the book one!! We see how our main characters develop from their learnings and experiences of each book and apply it to become the best versions of themselves by the end! Though i wished to see the same kind of development with the other side characters such as the cousin, Liza. I needed more for her. I wanted atleast a hint of her getting a happy ending. Other than that, loved how the author so intelligently explored USA in this book. Loved the new characters, especially Audrey's grandmother. She is a delightful, yet one of the strongest characters. Wished there was more of her.
Goodbye to one of the best series i have read, that only changed my view on forensic science, but also made me fall for thriller books.
Would highly recommend this series to everyone. And i still, myself, fancy a reread as well!!

This book always reminds me of how well J.K.Rowling can write mystery. This book is just the beginning of the much complicated and dark backstory of Lord Voldemort.

always a five star this one!!
