Narration and background music make it even better. Listen with full focus (no parallel work) to get the complete value.

A good listen that mixes the incredible life story along with one of the most important issues of current world.
P.S. Funny part is that by writing this review, I am sort of creating a permanent record of data that tags me to this book.

Story
Kafka on the Shore follows the fortunes of two remarkable characters. Kafka Tamura runs away from home at 15, under the shadow of his father's dark prophesy. The aging Nakata, tracker of lost cats, who never recovered from a bizarre childhood affliction, finds his pleasantly simplified life suddenly turned upside down.

Brilliant Narration and Story

The narration of the book is just brilliantly done. Portrayal of the different characters and situations with voice modulation couldn't be appreciated more.
The story of the book is pretty intriguing as well and keeps you wanting more. I did 4+ hour marathon listening sessions couple of times thanks to the way narration and story was done.
