Extolled for his extraordinary courage and sacrifice, Bhagat Singh is one of our most venerated freedom fighters. He is valourised for his martyrdom, and rightly so, but in the ensuing enthusiasm, most of us forget, or consciously ignore, his contributions as an intellectual and a thinker. He not only sacrificed his life, like many others did before and after him, but he also had a vision of independent India.

A detailed Indian independence struggle by way of revolution is described well in the book. The initial efforts of young freedom fighters and their path away from the nonviolent movement is explained. The misery and hardships of the young revolutionaries and their imprisonment really make us aware of the fact about the sacrifices by thousands, and most of them might not be recorded in the history.
Good book. Well narrated. Worth listening.

Story
Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity and yet it is increasingly neglected in 21st century society, with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why its absence is so damaging to our health. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

It’s technically discussed about the biological need of sleep for any living creature, and especially for humans. There are astonishing things to know about the sleep. The accordion rhythm, biological clock and day night effect on sleep are discussed in detail. I loved this book as it made an impact on my sleep habits and schedule.
