I lived in Pennsylvania during the Sniper shooting and occassion travelled to DC and Maryland. I remember it terrorized the East Coast but going through Audible presentation it's like reliving the whole thing. Very well told series of events

Story
It’s the $10 million heist you’ve never heard of. In a matter of months, dozens of truckloads disappeared from American highways. But what were they carrying? Nuts. Marc Fennell takes you into a rabbit-hole of crime syndicates, stolen identities and private investigators that will change the way you think about food forever. 80% of the world’s almonds are grown in the heart of California but this journey will take you to Italy; the Spanish coast; deep under the earth; and even into space.

Beautifully Told Can the Life of Nut be Romantic

I had wonderful time reading /listening to the Story of Nuts. Though what attracted me was the Crime initially of massive heists, I am so glad the work did not just stop at that. The way it ended puts a pondering note on how we take things for granted.
Bit more on History of Almonds would've been nice particularly the Silk Road.
