Story
The Greek myths are amongst the greatest stories ever told, passed down through millennia and inspiring writers and artists as varied as Shakespeare, Michelangelo, James Joyce and Walt Disney. They are embedded deeply in the traditions, tales and cultural DNA of the West. You'll fall in love with Zeus, marvel at the birth of Athena, wince at Cronus and Gaia's revenge on Ouranos, weep with King Midas and hunt with the beautiful and ferocious Artemis.

Great stories. Fantastic narration. What more can you ask for. Although stories can get a bit confusing sometimes but they are majestic so a mere mortal can be expected to be confused.

Narration lacks energy. Book lacks any flow or insights. Placid book with talks solves everything.

Story
Rudyard Kipling's classic adventure story, Kim, tells the tale of an Irish soldier's orphan son, who roams the back alleys and bazaars of British-ruled India. The young urchin learns the rules and language of the dirty streets, until he discovers his father's old army regiment. Suddenly, Kim abandons his former life and native customs, buys expensive European clothing, and begins a new career as a secret agent. Both an exciting adventure and a detailed look at a spy's inner conflicts, Kim is one of Kipling's most important and popular novels.

Loved the book. Wanted to read this for a long time but could never. Performance was ok. Hindi words are something that put me off. Maybe an Indian would do a better job. But all in all a good book and ok performance.

Timeless Holmes.

Loved it. Stephen Fry was sublime. Never bored during the whole book. A word of caution to listeners though to listen story by story and not in marathons to really enjoy the classic. YOUR ATTENTION SPAN DOES MATTER AS DOES HOLMES'S. 😂😂😂
