The review is for the entire series - not just one episode.

The entire series is a great starting point for someone who knows absolutely nothing about gut health. It if fun, light, informative - all at the same time. However, if you are caught up with results from a couple of google searches on the subject, then you may not have too much to gain form the series.

For a book that contains the word "Fast" in its title, boy, was this a long read or what?! And come to think of it, not all of it was necessary - a fair bit could have been abridged & yet the book would make absolute sense.

Narration was good for such a long read.

Absolutely fantastic bite sized read. The story flows well - with learning peppered along the way. The voice is great too.

The science, backed with "success numbers from the clinic's patients" is encouraging. Sure, there are parts that could have been chopped off, but when the concept is apparently so simple yet so path breaking, it is great to have detail repetition.

Invest the time & read this book. Simple suggestions/recommendations with ease of applicability will surprise you!

This would have been better read - as a physical book - rather than heard on Audible. The material is such. Had to consciously focus doubly hard to understand what's going on. It doesn't help that the voice drones on - often times bordering dangerously close to boring.

Don't think I am getting another Harvard Book on audible again.

Well written, well read.
Captivating, enlightening, engaging.
Learnt a lot from this book. Not just theory, but with real examples.
Very well narrated.

Will keep going back.

I started the book expecting something completely different. I had hoped there would be a break down of steps towards achieving some goals, for example. That’s not the case. The book is rich in ideals, that’s fantastic. How to get there, not so much.

The larger concern was that the beginning of every new chapter title was so soft it almost meant missing the first word! Very unusual & most definitely unpleasant.
