Thank you DK Audio for bringing out this masterpiece in Audio book format. Beautifully narrated by Sagar Arya. Like the Gandhi movie, this one is also a must listen for every Indian.
It’s a shame that I am reading this book at age 45. But better late than never.
I strongly believe that listening to this book has brought in a profound impact on me.
How did Gandhi manage to live such an eventful life. Full of experiments, many of them so dangerous. Really wonder how he survived for 79 years even after being so tough on himself.
Kasturba Gandhi must have been a Great soul. Else it is not possible for a normal person to put up with all that Gandhi did.
Gandhi remembers the names of thousands of characters whom he has come across in his life and mentions them in the book. Looks like, he maintained a journal of his entire life in a disciplined way.
But this book doesn’t cover his journey with respect to his contribution in the final phase of India’s freedom struggle. I am very keen to read his version of the same.
This book has kindled my interest to read more about Gandhi and his works. And of course, he has a deep influence on the reader and this would for sure bring in many changes in my lifestyle.
