While it does make the case for spirituality without religion , the whole idea of recognizing the "self" is still lost to me despite him droning on about in almost the entirety middle of the book. Seemed like aspects of spirituality beyond my comprehension , but I feel Sam didn't do a good enough job to try and make it relatable, and if that's not possible without experiencing it, then the book should've been a lot shorter
