Story
Figuring out how to deal with today's critical economic problems is perhaps the great challenge of our time. Much greater than space travel, what is at stake is the whole idea of the good life as we have known it. Immigration and inequality, globalisation and technological disruption, slowing growth and accelerating climate change - these are sources of great anxiety across the world. The resources to address these challenges are there - what we lack are ideas that will help us jump the wall of disagreement and distrust that divides us.

books usually written in the view what the author's think.
but this book gave the actual insight into the past present and future of economics, i liked the point why the poor remain poor when assisted by others or self learning and conditional cash transfer programme it explained.
purchasing lover parity is well explained . chinese shock well explained.
effect of migration and migrants on locals well explained .
effect of job loss due to china shock or migrants and a programme for assistance to find new job or self employment is well explained but i was upset that such a programme is less used.
