Story
The CEO of the Walt Disney Company shares the ideas and values he has used to reinvent one of the most beloved companies in the world, and inspire the people who bring the magic to life. In 2005, Robert Iger became CEO of The Walt Disney Company during a difficult time. Morale had deteriorated, competition was more intense, and technology was changing faster than at any time in the company's history. Twelve years later, Disney is the largest, most respected media company in the world counting Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox among its properties.

In awe of the book!

Heard this after checking Bill Gates list of recommended reads this summer. And with it, I visualised the whole journey. I had my moments of goosebumps, and moments when I got tearful with joy that finally some effort reached fruition for Disney, or some such otherwise trivial anecdote.
The book is as well written if not more as the accomplished ‘Ride’. And the audio book does justice to this enormous saga.
My recommendation: If you like to read, this is a must read. If you have never held a book in your hand out of college, start with this! If you can’t see yourself reading yet, download this audiobook.

Story
Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity and yet it is increasingly neglected in 21st century society, with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why its absence is so damaging to our health. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Remarkable and curiosity arousing

I have believed all my life that those who are able to sleep less and yet perform well are Heroes. Personally, I enjoy getting up early. But this book almost made me loose my early habits! That’s how convincing it is. I have so many questions. I so wish I could somehow communicate with the author, clear my doubts.
I recommend this book to everyone who cares about his/her health.

Thought provoking, very well written and detailed

I have never been interested in history. Of any kind, or anything. This book was all about history and I waited to be free enough to hear it each day! Yuval Noah Harari is in a league of his own. Goosebumps, worry, sadness, happiness, excitement of learning something new and worthwhile, anger and many more responses and emotions are invoked by this book.
Also, 100% credit for excellent narration too.
