The subject of the purpose of life and the deeper questions related to death comes to each one of us at some point or the other. Eknath Easwaran has expounded the practical application of the Katha Upanishad in a lively manner, based on his own first hand experience, which he lived through out his life. The dialogue between the young boy Nachiketa and Yama, the god of death, has been related to everyday life and how we can progress on the path to ultimately get out of the cycle of birth and death. Paul Beasley has brought the dialogue live in a befitting manner. A pleasure to listen to it on Audible.

A profound collation of various aspects of karma and how they influence the cycles of our birth, motives, actions and death. Pointers are also provided on how one can devote one's life to overcome the subtle impressions that propel us and finally cut asunder the repetitive patterns of rebirth. Rendered ably by D.C Rao. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this insightful book.
