Story
Sleep is one of the most important aspects of our life, health and longevity and yet it is increasingly neglected in 21st century society, with devastating consequences: every major disease in the developed world - Alzheimer's, cancer, obesity, diabetes - has very strong causal links to deficient sleep. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why its absence is so damaging to our health. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Didn't know that the many things that we do are so wrong and have a long term impact on our health. For long, I have been trying to tell my family the importance of maintaining a routine. Until now I didn't have the arguments to make my claim. Now I do ... Thanks for this enlightening research. As rightly mentioned in the book, children should be educated about this at school.

I swear by this book!

Literally! Started reading this because a friend of mine kept quoting the book every other day that I just had to find out. Explains why a lot of times, we normally get what we truly desire and the underlying power that we all possess but unfortunately do not use at all. I have always wondered how some people keep falling sick while others have remained healthy despite no difference in lifestyle. How people "wish" sickness upon themselves ... Now I understand why my mother used to keep saying not to even "say aloud" anything bad that might happen to you because it truly might!

This book is good for startup entrepreneurs, VC professionals and laymen alike. It is good for people who know nothing about VCs and for people who have some knowledge and want to learn more and even for those who do know a lot but just want to reinforce what they already know. The book is well structured and covers everything you need to know no matter which side you are on.

The author has so wonderfully expressed what is at times difficult to explain. In these days of lockdowns when people are struggling to find happiness from external props, this book is very relevant in that it tells you how you cannot find happiness by just lazing around. You need a purpose and targets, variety and challenges. The author clearly tells you how you can achieve moments of flow!
