A Powerful Story of the Former First Lady
Extremely captivating and eye-opening. An important piece of art that should not be missed. Michelle Obama's perspective on growing up and becoming the person that she is, is all about the kind of people she was surrounded with, who brought their own wonderful experiences that led to her learnings and her sense of right and wrong. The passion with which she narrates her own story in this audiobook is particularly impactful and is bound to make you feel emotional at several points in the book. It's almost as if you're having a long, delightful conversation with the former First Lady, herself. With not a single dull moment, this book will take you to places you have always felt curious about: from the streets where Michelle Obama grew up to the classrooms where she argued with her teachers to the office where Michelle and Barack discussed about various laws the country needed ammended to the quiet yet bustling corridors of the White House during their term as the President and First Lady.
This book has been as emotional a journey for me as it was for Michelle Obama.
Do give it a listen!
