Not impressed.. 7 year old asking what is a slut? Mummy

One story uses words 'hussy ' Slut' describes a mother beating her child.... other stories not really of ease to understand... brings lots of questions, wouldn't recommend.. quite dark tales for bedtime

Content inappropriate for little kids

The narrator, music, and duration of this audiobook were all very good.

The main issue is that the content of the stories is inappropriate for children, particularly for young children. The stories are frequently violent and gruesome. Furthermore, the stories contain words that may have had a different meaning historically, but which are now considered to be rude or swear words. Many of these words are applied in the description of young women (e.g. in story #9 about the two sisters). Overall, I was amazed that this book was marketed as being for 'little kids'.

If the content and words could be tweaked to be more suitable for modern young children, then this audiobook would be great.
