Very impressive!

African’s gods and goddess were far more different from what we have constantly heard about like those of Greek mythology. Theirs were more magical. You will be amazed by their legends as you listen to audible book.

Great audible

Astounding revelation about the continent of Africa. How they have lived in the past and how they have passed their cultures and traditions over the centuries. How their myths and legends affects their way of living and views about life.

Interesting to listen to

It’s good to study about African’s belief, tradition, culture, and legends. It was really controversial that you would want to go deeper with their life.

Just spewing out facts with a horrible reading

Honestly you can’t even take notes while listening to this because of the miss pronunciation of a lot of words also with a British white man speaking on African history and mispronouncing and disrespecting ancestors on a whole Nother level what needs to be done is have someone reread this that actually knows what they’re talking about and how to pronounce names properly.

All of the most important myths

The voice was calming and professional. I liked the narrative and the information. The African myths appeal to me.

Pronunciation/narration...AWFUL!

I would suggest that in getting someone to narrate this material, the reader should KNOW how to pronounce words like ‘Ife’ and ‘Xhosa’...the British accent on top of this lends a highly patronising flavour. This is really awful and I deeply regret buying this...

A good overview of the mythology

This is a good audio book. I had hoped for more stories, but overall that narration is good and information is well written and presented. Definitely a worthwhile listen
