not the same version
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This version of the audible book starts at chapter 4 and its not the same version as the book I bought. It was listed on the same page so I assumed it matched the book version.

Ah, Classics.
There is nothing, what so ever, as satisfying as a good classic. Alice in Wonderland is a good rhyming book. Lewis Carroll might be one of my favorite authors. The narrator is a little boring, and I would of liked a better one, but you who is reading this, do not be discouraged. I wouldn’t waste time reading the rest of this anyways. Go listen! If you do persist reading my review, go on ahead.
I never really had appreciated the poetical nonsense and comical words of this book until I read it at an older age. I think they cut out a little of the book, which makes my match come awfully close to my angry wood, but I soon realized they just cut out the talking about the book and everything that was before the discovering of The White Rabbit. The new movie was excellent, and I think this book was based off the movie words, but I don’t know. Alice is such a curious little girl, with such curious little ideas, but is missing a little common sense. Some British people do have that missing piece, but some don’t. I used to pretend to be 2 people as well, but I didn’t go as far as boxing my ears. The chapters came quickly, and almost seemed to be in the sentence! Curiouser and curiouser. We all must remember a very important quote from the movie of this, though. “I’m not crazy, my reality is just different than yours.” - Cheshire Cat. If you haven’t heard it yet, but endured my review, GO GO GO! Have not a hesitation, but listen the the recitation, of Alice in Wonderland, and the Mad Hatter running through the ham, With the White Rabbit. As fast as can be, go to see, and visit the purchase button, and listen ro the talking mutton. ;)
