Publisher's Summary
What if your whole world was a lie? What if a single revelation - like a single choice - changed everything? What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered - fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature - and of herself - while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

All things considered, wow...
Would you consider the audio edition of Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) to be better than the print version?
Did not read the print version.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The obvious choice would be Tris but in all honesty in this book it was Tobias (Four). I like the fact that his character was explored in this book and, myself a man, I can identify with some of his internal struggles.
What about Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford’s performance did you like?
The contrasting voices telling the 2 different characters' stories were very nicely done and adds a great dimension.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There is so much happening in the book! Particular points for me were when Tris & Tobias finally reach a point where it seems like they may have a future together, Tris & her brother finally making peace and the whole last bit from when "it" happens to the end.
Any additional comments?
I know there are a lot of different views on the ending of the book. For me the "it" that happens makes the story great and very unique and very memorable, the "thereafter" is the really depressing part as it does not provide proper closure and does not really turn into a good enough positive to dampen the sadness. But that being said, still a great book and great series.

Disappointed and Confused
I wasn't expecting something amazing. These types of books are my guilty pleasures. The first and second book I can somewhat get into but this third one was so far off from the first two I felt like the story just took a wild turn. Without giving the ending away, I didn't see the point of it. I was surprised and not in a good way.

A little disappointed.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Having previously enjoyed the other 2 books in the series I felt disappointed by how the story telling had developed. It felt to me like it had become more about describing fours jaw line than the struggle between the factions.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The ending did improve the story for me. Helping me to reconnect with character I had enjoyed learning about in previous books.
Any additional comments?
To me the final book was a let down in comparison to the rest of the series.

Would you try another book written by Veronica Roth or narrated by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford?
Yes the first 2 books were much better written and better story lines
Would you be willing to try another book from Veronica Roth? Why or why not?
Maybe if something new comes up
Did Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) inspire you to do anything?
No, it really felt like a filler. first 2 books seemed to fill well with a full story, this one just seemed to be a filler until the end of the book came.
Any additional comments?
Get the 3 books as enjoyable in all but book 3 really seemed to lack the story of the first 2 books and was a bit of hard work to keep concentration to the end.

Allegiant
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this whole series to anyone who loves the dystopian genre. Before I listened to this book I heard lost of bad thing about the ending, but for me it was perfect. Sometimes not liking what is happening in the story is not the same as not liking the book and I think some people confused the two. Personally I think this is the best series I've listened to all year.
What other book might you compare Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) to, and why?
The Hunger Games series. Another of my favourites and I think if you enjoyed that one, you'll love this too.
What about Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford’s performance did you like?
I thought the narration was perfect for the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted too, but time restraints and family life meant it took me 5 days to get through.
Any additional comments?
Definitely a series worth using your credit on!

No body likes a sad ending.
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The ending, I'm a happy ending kinda girl.
Would you recommend Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, the idea behind the books are great and I really enjoyed the series over all I just felt the last book was a bit disappointing.
Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No I haven't but I enjoyed listening to both and would again
If this book were a film would you go see it?
Not sure, probably.
Any additional comments?
Loved the idea behind these books and if you enjoy books like the hunger games then I would definitely recommend theses.

The first two books were naratted by Emma Galvin alone but a new narattor joins to take the part of Tobias. I found that a little weird but I got used to it and by the end I liked his parts too. Great series, I loved the story and I loved the narattion too.

Woaw the ending
Would you try another book written by Veronica Roth or narrated by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford?
Not sure about Veronica Roth I think I need a break from her style of writing, I hung on reading all three books. The wording she uses at times drove me nuts
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Stop it with the he said, she said, they said over and over times infinity. I almost broke my phone in anger. In fact you could probably do a drinking game, do shots every time the narrator has to say 'She said' 'He said' 'I said'. It was off putting having listened to Emma be Tris for two books and then have Aaron act as her. It at times sounded like Aaron made Tris out to be a whiny girly annoying push over. It was very hard to get used to that.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford?
Yes,
Was Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) worth the listening time?
Yes it was,

Not what I expected!
I chose this book to give me some closure from the movie which isn't being completed. Unfortunately as is often the case the book doesn't bare a great deal of resemblance to the movie and I have a feeling the stories would've gone in different directions had the 2nd part of the movie been completed. That being said I'm happy enough with where the story ended and can live with that I think!
