Publisher's Summary

This is an epic tale of victory and defeat...of the vanquished Asura people, a story that has been cherished by the oppressed outcastes of India for 3,000 years. Unlike Ramayana, the story of Ravanayana has never been told...until now. Perhaps the time has come for the dead and the defeated to speak.

excellent philosophy book

This is a excellent book which tells about the cast system in India . it is more of communist ideology. Even though it speaks about life and achievements of Rama and Ravana it speaks about the suffering of common man at that time by a fictional character Badran. the suffering of comman man is very much relevant even today. This book criticize Rama and not recommend for those who believe Rama as God

"AMAZING"

Asura= the other side of the Ramayan. Never imagined I'd hear a story about Ravana. And i never imagined I'd hear an actual stroy other than what I saw in Vijay tv(never interested in though). This is something.... amazing.

Excellent work on the Asura community & narration

Awesome fictional story well written as Ramayana. Both are fictional but Asura apples more common sense in looking at all the characters without bis. Well done Anand. Good narrative as reading …

The twin headed story of the ten headed ravana

Very interesting perspective of Indian mythology . This is equally a likely candidate to be true.
I liked the author's style of bringing two people's first hand narration in the same book and depicting how life in the same society is different for different walks of people .
The imposition of morality for a king vs a poor man are two worlds apart :)
