Exceptionally insightful conversations.
I absolutely loved listening to the six episodes of Awkward conversations. The topics are very sensitive and ring very authentic and genuine. I am glad confidentiality was maintained because honestly, these conversations are seldom possible in real life. The episodes range from money and habits about money wrt social spending to housing to death. I hope there will be follow up on these because we definitely need to keep the conversation going.

Truth about Money
I found this book completely different from the books who teaches on how to invest earn money.
This audible purchase has open my mind set to a total different perspective about money.
Author has done good job on having in conversation with real life example. I started thinking where money matters and how much important it is when we overlook emotions we have temporary.

Definitely conversations that we need to have.
Thank you for a good series. As parents of young adults these are necessary conversations, which we should have had earlier. Now at 30 and 34, my kids have jobs but have not thought about the future ..... we need to do this 😬 however hard it is going to be!

Money
I have experienced most of these difficult conversations with money. I wish I had been exposed to this book earlier.

Great examples to explain the concepts...
I really enjoyed this series. It tackles those awkward things about money we really don’t like talking about. Real life examples that I could connect with and wasnt preachy about things. Until...the last episode about death & life insurance let this series down. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen the financial burden life insurance can do to someone (come on it’s insurance...and unless you die...you’re losing $$$), I felt like the last episode was pushing life insurance as a miracle product. It doesn’t give enough explanation about its risks & what it really involves.

Sound financial advice
Well written and narrated. Easy to listen to.
Slightly UK focussed but still good advice, broken up into sensible chapters.

Great conversation starter but...
I’ve really enjoyed this series, very thought provoking and has made me ask myself what my relationship with money is. Note that this is a British series and all facts and figures relate specifically to the UK. But still worth a listen to help you reevaluate your relationship with money.
