Desirae shares a formative medical experience from her youth, opening a broader reflection on trust, personal growth, and faith beyond religion.

Desirae's bio:

Desirae Feliciano is a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and owner of Yellow Finch Healing, LLC. She has worked in education for over 20 years and was beginning to feel overwhelmed and out of balance. Her interest in Reiki began due to her own battles with depression, anxiety and chronic migraines. Desirae was looking for alternative ways to improve her health and well-being as she was tired of various medications masking the issues. Over time with Reiki, she was able to see improvement. Desirae is still under physician’s care; however, her need for medications have lowered or stopped. Desirae has found balance within herself and new ways to handle the stresses in her life.

Desirae specializes in working with people of all ages who wish to utilize Reiki for depression and anxiety, as well as general wellness and stress reduction. Her goal is to help people move towards balance in their lives. Reiki offers this with a simple relaxation technique, which in turn activates the body’s natural healing response.

Desirae’s motto is: “The gift of healing begins with you”. She wholeheartedly believes in the power of energy and healing ourselves through intention.
