The Filthy Heathens came together during the chaos of the pandemic, brought together by a shared instinct to play loud, honest music with no safety net. What began with the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer, Ryan Palcic, and “Captain” Craig Bishop, took shape fast when guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp joined the fold. Five members. No brakes.

I sat down with The Filthy Heathens for a high-energy, no-filter conversation about their raw approach to rock-driven country and the road-tested grit that fuels their sound.
