About this listen

Welcome back to Day 31 of our journey through the Bible—one full month of stepping into God’s story, watching His plan unfold, and discovering what it means for us today. Thank you for walking faithfully through this adventure.

Today, we return to the book of Exodus, picking up with chapters 4 through 6, where Moses moves from reluctant follower to appointed deliverer. These chapters open with tension, uncertainty, and divine reassurance. God equips Moses with signs, strengthens his shaken confidence, and pairs him with Aaron. But as Moses steps into his calling, his obedience immediately meets opposition—Pharaoh’s hardened heart, Israel’s suffering, and Moses’ own doubts.

In Exodus 4–6, we witness three powerful themes:

✨ God equips those He calls—even when they feel inadequate. ✨ Obedience doesn’t always bring instant success—sometimes things get harder before they get better. ✨ God’s covenant faithfulness never wavers—even when His people struggle to believe.

As we step into these chapters, consider this: How often does God ask us to trust Him when the road ahead looks impossible? And where might He be calling you to stand firm, even when the outcome feels out of reach?

So settle in, open your heart, and let’s continue the story of deliverance—where God reminds Moses, Israel, and us: “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out.”

Let’s begin.
