And globalization because we keep blaming immigrants for job losses that were actually caused by automation and China, shopping at Walmart without connecting it to the global supply chain, and treating "communism" like a Cold War boogeyman instead of reckoning with China's weird capitalist-communist hybrid that's outmaneuvering us. Then Bo pairs hermeneutics with Human 2.0 — Schleiermacher's insight that even understanding your spouse requires the art of interpretation, and I go full existential crisis mode about algorithms colonizing our inner room, turning our interiority into a plantation for billionaires.
