About this listen
When the world feels broken and evildoers seem to prosper, Psalm 37 gives clear direction—not just what not to do, but what we should do. While we are told not to fret or become consumed with anger, verses 2–7 shift our focus to a better response. First, we remember that no one ultimately escapes God’s justice. All are accountable before Him. But instead of being overwhelmed by what others are doing, we are called to trust in the Lord, delight in Him, commit our way to Him, and rest patiently in Him.
As we place our confidence in God’s sovereignty, we are also instructed to “do good.” Rather than wasting energy on frustration over things beyond our control, we are to use what God has given us to bless others and live faithfully. Trust God. Keep doing right. Let Him handle justice. And continue moving forward in obedience and faith.
