In this raw and deeply personal episode, this group shares unfiltered reflections from their first mission trip serving people experiencing homelessness. They went in thinking they were bringing help. They left realizing they were receiving something far greater.

The realization that the people we met aren’t “the homeless.” They are fathers, mothers, veterans, artists, dreamers—human beings with stories, humor, heartbreak, and dignity.

We wrestle with the uncomfortable truth that homelessness is not a distant issue—it’s a growing crisis happening in our own communities. And charity alone isn’t enough. If we’re going to address homelessness in a meaningful way, we have to start seeing people differently. Listening differently. Acting differently.
