Five-year-old Sharon Granites has been missing for almost three days after being abducted from the Old Timers Camp south of Alice Springs on Saturday night. Police suspect 47-year-old Jefferson Lewis, who was released from prison six days earlier with a history of aggravated assault and domestic violence, was last seen holding hands with the child at 11pm. Dozens of detectives, volunteers, Indigenous trackers and army reserves are searching 20 square kilometres of rough terrain in the Northern Territory.
