The 100 calorie trend didn't go away in the 90's yo-yo diets. We are still seeing food marketers label the products 100 calories or less.

While there is a time and a place for packaged snacks like these, we shouldn't be using them to fill our daily diet. While the calorie count is low, so are the nutrients. Filling our plates with nutrient dense foods should always be the priority.
