Hernan Barenboim, PhD, PCC, LMFT, is the Chief Wellness Officer at the KPC Group in Menifee, California. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is a registered psychologist. After moving to the US, he completed a PhD in Medical Family Therapy at the University of Saint Louis and a fellowship in Medical Family Therapy at the Chicago Center for Family Health. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience, including providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, supervising mental health students, and teaching culturally informed behavioral science to family medicine residents. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Barenboim has been a consultant in health equity, cultural competence, and integrated care for several national and international companies.
