However, the core that the Bible intends to speak through Galatians does not lie in the religious debates or theological slogans of an era. How the righteousness that can never be obtained by human deeds settles upon a soul at once—that is the central message of Galatians. This book explains Galatians chapters 1 through 6 from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit. It is a record that follows how Jesus Christ—who had the sins of the world transferred to Him by receiving baptism from John, received the punishment for those sins on the cross, and then resurrected from death—and His gospel become true freedom and eternal righteousness to souls shaking under the yoke of the law. By reading this book, we come to confirm the fact that only the gospel of the water and the Spirit sustains the ministry of the apostles and establishes the saints as eternal children. Furthermore, through the two structures of baptism and the cross, it will be clearly testified how this gospel moves sinners from being slaves of the law to heirs of the promise, and from the yoke of slavery to free people working through love. ● Scripture quotations used in this book are from the ‘New King James Version (NKJV)’, ‘American Standard Version (ASV)’. ● This audiobook is an original human creation based on the sermons of Rev. Chapter 1. Who is the author of Galatians?
The author of Galatians is the Apostle Paul.
    1. Internal Evidence (The text itself)
Galatians clearly reveals its author at the beginning of the epistle.“Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead)” (Galatians 1:1).Also, in Galatians chapters 1 and 2, Paul details autobiographical contents such as the circumstances of his conversion, his journey to Arabia, his visit to Jerusalem, and the incident in Antioch, which coincide with the records in the Acts of the Apostles.

  • Ch1-1_Biblical Exposition_Paul's defense of the gospel
    Jun 11 2026

Galatians Chapter 1 is the introduction to the letter the Apostle Paul sent to the various churches of Galatia, and a defense regarding the source and absoluteness of the gospel he preached.
The churches of Galatia were being shaken by a different gospel due to the deception of legalists, and the Apostle Paul strongly testifies that only the gospel he preached is the true gospel that did not come from man but came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
From the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, this passage clearly nails down the fact that there is no other gospel besides “the gospel of the baptism, the Cross, and the resurrection personally accomplished by Jesus,” and that any attempt to add anything to that gospel leads to a curse.
